I agree with what you roughly summarize about the songs of the album.

Uprising is a very good single, and a successful one too. It’s quite enchanting but gets you moving in the same time.

Undisclosed Desires plays too melodic, but that is not necessarily bad as it is alluring. The lyric is somewhat ’soft’ compared to Muse’s songs in all of their previous album.

The rest of the songs will get a thorough review once I listen to them intently.

But my overall review of the album, is that Muse is getting somewhat ’soft’ and ’sweet’. Their Rock genre is almost aligning itself to Linkin Park – bordering dangerously close to Pop.
